Important informations

Because of the increasingly worrying spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Federal Council has strengthened measures to limit contact and has adapted the health management system. On this basis, the Council of State has decided to close the compulsory public schools, general and vocational secondary II schools and the Hautes Ecoles on the Valais territory from Monday 16 March until 30 April 2020.

Can students come to work in their workshop or access the labs? (Central building or Moviemax)
No, because according to the decision of the Council of State, all the schools are closed.


FAQ for the School of Art

Are courses still ongoing for Bachelor and Master students?
Bachelor and Master students are invited by the head of the program and the teachers to follow online courses on the Google Classroom platform. Test platforms have been active since Monday 16 March. Online versions of the courses and tutorials will be available from 23 March 2020. For more information on this subject, we invite you to contact your pedagogical managers (Petra Koehle for the Master and Federica Martini for the Bachelor).

Can I bring my application for Bachelor or Master admissions directly to the school?
We accept digital applications (PDF file), to be sent to secretariat@edhea.ch.
The application deadline for Bachelor is extended from 20 March 2020 to 25 March 2020. For more information, please contact secretariat@edhea.ch.

Will the Bachelor's admission interviews still take place?
The Bachelor's admission interviews will take place as announced on 7 and 8 April. However, they will not take place in person, but via Skype. If necessary, a second round of admissions interviews, this time face-to-face, is scheduled for early July.

Will the Master's admission interviews still take place?
The Master's admission interviews will take place as announced on 5 and 6 May, in person for Swiss candidates and via Skype for international candidates.

Is the library open and accessible?
The library will not be accessible during the closing period.

Is the administrative staff reachable?
For any contact with the administration, please contact the secretariat by e-mail: edhea@edhea.ch.

Is it possible to meet a member of the teaching staff outside the school?
No, exchanges should only take place remotely via the appropriate platforms and social networks.

Will the events organised by EDHEA for the next few weeks be maintained?

FAQ à l’attention du secondaire

Le délai d’inscription en Graphiste CFC / MP est-il prolongé
En raison de la situation actuelle, le délai d'inscription est exceptionnellement prolongé au mercredi 18 mars 2020 (cachet de la poste faisant foi).

Les dates du concours d’admission pour la formation Graphiste CFC / MP sont-elles maintenues comme annoncées sur le site ?
Les admissions sont maintenues aux 1er, 2 et 3 avril sous une forme légèrement modifiée. Les entretiens se feront par vidéoconférence. Des informations supplémentaires seront transmises à ce sujet aux candidat·e·s.

Est-ce que les cours du secondaire se poursuivent ?
L’enseignement au niveau secondaire se poursuit à distance. Il est prévu aux heures régulières.

Je devais participer au programme élève d’un jour ; peut-on reporter la date ?
Les dates sont reportées en octobre 2020. Pour toute information à ce sujet, nous vous invitons à contacter Joachim Felix Correia, coordinateur de la formation Graphiste CFC.

Les formations continues sont-elles maintenues ?
