Un ipotetico corso

"I shall make my report as if I told a story."
Ursula K Le Guin

Un ipotetico corso (A Hypotethical Course) starts with a free collective reading of the short tale "Another Story, or a Fisherman of the Inland Sea" (1994) by American writer Ursula K Le Guin. Having abandoned scientific research, the narrator sends a speculative report to themselves, juxtaposing the story of a vanished world and the protagonist's experiments on transilience.

Synonymous with radical and sudden historical changes, geological mutations and impermanence, the notion of transilience runs through the works presented in the exhibition, which evoke alternative lunar landscapes, interrupted correspondences, submerged worlds, material histories and speculative readings of the present.
